Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani (formerly known as Marathwada krishi Vidhyapeeth, Parbhani ) established in 1972. This University spread in eight districts of Marathwada namely Parbhani, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Jalna, Latur, Nanded, Beed, Osmanabad and Hingoli. The basic aim of the university is Agriculture education, research and extension. This university is having 12 constituent colleges, 09 constituent schools, 43 affiliated colleges and 53 affiliated schools.
The Registrar is a custodian of land, all records, common seal and such other property of the university. Establishment, General Administration and Academic are the main wings of Registrar office. Registrar looks over all establishment matters, land issues, security issues, admission and examination etc with overall administration of the university.
